Max & Me Old Vine Springton Vineyard Grenache is vibrant, light, very fresh and juicy. Careful decisions during winemaking ensures this wine is vegan friendly. A single vineyard Grenache by Philip and Sarah Lehmann.
Grenache grapes were sourced from a very famous vineyard east of Springton. The vines are over 150 years old and produce spectacular grapes.
A good amount of rain fell in winter 21 to fill the subsoil, followed by useful rainfall events in spring but without extreme heat, though Grenache can withstand these extremes better than most varieties. Despite the dry summer, a complete absence of heatwaves meant the vines maintained beautiful canopies and the fruit was in excellent condition come picking time.
